Volunteer opportunities, public health sessions, weekly activities, group trips for newcomers and youth, and much more!
The Assyrian Chaldean Syriac Student Union aims to promote higher education while raising awareness of our heritage and actively working within our community. This year with the help of our summer interns we have implemented a summer youth camp that will be running through the months of July and August. We aim to reach the youth community around us to help provide direction to participating youth. We want to promote fellowship, community, cultural application, and friendships that will last a lifetime. We aim to have controlled workshops for youth of a visible minority, and for newcomer youth. We hope to develop a newcomer youth mentorship program for youth in the Etobicoke North area, where they will be assisted with language services, resume building, and career related workshops as well.
